Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is the Best Show of the Fall Season (so far)

Do I need to tell you how awesome this show is?

CBS's Mom is One of the Worst Shows Ever Produced

I like to look for the entertainment value in anything that I watch; not just for my own benefit, but because I don't like to just bash and be critical on my blog. That's easy to do and as a writer I like to pretend I have a little more talent than that.

But when it comes to CBS's Mom it is kinda hard to find anything of merit in that show. I'd go as far as to call it one of if not the worst 'sitcoms' ever produced.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine is Good But Fatal Flaw Will Kill It

I did like Brooklyn Nine-Nine. It was mildly entertaining, but for a sitcom to set the premise for the series while still telling a story is not easy. They succedded in doing it in last week's debut, but I still don't see this show lasting. Why? Because it has one fatal flaw.

Andy Samberg--the show's lead.

FOX Has a Winner in Sleepy Hollow

I think that TV execs have learned something from the success of Once Upon a Time, the show based off of the Snow White tale. If you take a classic tale and give it an updated story line and decent actors you can create a cool--and more importantly successful-- TV show.

Like FOX has with its new sure to be hit Sleepy Hollow.

Michael Douglas Throws as Many Innuendos as Possible Into Short Emmy Acceptance Speech

Probably the biggest no-brainer of  the Emmy's was Michael Douglas winning Best Actor in a Movie or Miniseries for his portrayal of Liberace in "Behind the Candelabra." The performance he gave while thanking co-star Matt Damon was almost as good.

I'd describe it for you, but I couldn't do it justice. Just click play--you'll be glad you did.

Jimmy Kimmel Tries Not to Look at Sofia Vargas's Breasts

He appears to do a pretty good job of it. Either that or he really, really, really wants to and is trying to figure out how while not looking like a perv on live television.

Yeah. Sucks to be you Jimmy. They are pretty nice.

Neil Patrick Harris Emmy-Bombed?

Since its a live broadcast I'm not sure that 'video-bomb' is the right word here, so-- Emmy-bombed? Does this qualify as a 'bomb?' I thought they had to be intentional, and I don't think this poor guy planned on being there when the camera went live.

Anyway...check out this guy out who got caught on camera behind the dude formerly known as Doogie Howser. Good time. Good times.

FOX's Dads Takes the Generic Low Road to Get Laughs

FOX has been known for two things--creating some of the best shows on television and some of the biggest flops to ever hit the small screen.

Dads, the network's latest offering to laugh lovers everywhere, is dangerously close to being yet another flop flop for the FOX family.

Coming Soon--FatTalk on TV!!!

I had originally wanted to do a general entertainment site, but there was simply too much out there and to be honest--I barely listen to the radio and I hardly ever get to see a movie until it comes out on FX or something.

Batman/Superman Movie Coming to a Theater Near You in 2015!

If Hollywood is to keep us hooked on superhero flicks studios are going to have to ramp it up. The recently announced Batman/Superman movie is a good start!

When the power brokers in Tinseltown decided to reboot the Superman franchise seven years after the last attempt to reboot it they knew they had a gamble on their hands. Now that the gamble has appeared to pay off (over $620 million in worldwide ticket sales after little more than a month) the next question that needed answering was pretty straightforward:

80's Action Fans Unite! Stallone and Schwarzenegger At it Again in The Escape Plan!

As a child of the 80's and 90's there will always be a soft spot in my action-loving heart for Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. The two have made some of the best action flicks to ever come out of Hollywood, and in recent years have teamed up to do some pretty good work together (love those Expendables).

They must like each other because the two are teaming up for another one called The Escape Plan. Now assuming that you can suspend reality long enough to forget that these guys are pretty darn old this one has the look of some pretty good escape from reality kind of fun.

Now if only I can talk my wife into going to see it...

O.J. Simpson Movie Moving Forward; Sordid Tale to Hit Theaters in 2014

Somehow it has taken almost two decades for one of the most controversial and highly publicized crimes to be made into a film, but the O.J. Simpson movie is moving forward.

The working title of the movie is An American Mystery and is being directed by little known British director Joshua Newton who will be writing the script along with directing the film. His goal is to have the film completed and ready to be released for the 2oth anniversary of the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronlad Goldman.

An up and coming British actress, Charlotte Kirk, has been tabbed to play Simpson’s wife, Nicole. The up and coming actress will be seen next starring along with Liam Neeson in the action film Non-Stop. According to a press release:

Can You Smell What the Terminator is Cooking? The Rock in Terminator 5

Paramount has announced that Arnold Schwarzenegger is coming back for T5; his opponent–Dwayne Johnson. Yes, fans we got the Rock in Terminator 5!

“I’ll be back” will forever go down in the annuals of cinematic history as one of the best lines ever uttered on camera. With his political career over and the Governator wanting to work his way back in the hearts of action movie fans everywhere it makes sense that he returns to the franchise that helped solidify his status as a Hollywood icon.

But every good action hero needs an opponent; someone to do battle with; someone that is as epic a character as they are, but for all the wrong reasons.

Tupac Shakur on Broadway? Oh Yeah! Holler if Ya Hear Me!

Maybe this is an old institution trying to infuse life into itself. Whatever the reason the theater is going to be rocking with Tupac Shakur on Broadway.

The Bachelorette Rap Video "Right Reasons" with Soulja Boy

I will admit it. I am a dude--and I watch the Bachelorette (and Bachelor when it is on). At first it was just something to do with my girlfriend (and now wife). But over the years I have grown to like the dysfunctional show.

And that is why I know that this video exists--the Bachelorett rap video they made on the group date during tonight's episode.  So go ahead and judge me for watching that idiotic (but so funny show), and then watch this video and have a good laugh yourself.

Yeah, Soulja Boy knows whats up!

Fast and Furious 6 Crushes Hangover III at the Box Office!

One of the great things about the summer and holiday weekends like Memorial Day Weekend is that Hollywood roles out a whole bunch of awesome movies. Rather than having to pick and choose or worse--take a gamble on whether a movie is going to be worth the price of admission--we have plenty of options to choose from.

Memorial Day Weekend saw a few movies debut, but the two most anticipated were the latest in the 'Fast' series, Fast and Furious 6, and the final Hangover movie, The Hangover Part III. As of Sunday night it is pretty clear which of the flicks fans wanted to see more...

Will Smith Teams Up With Jaden, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and Alfonso Ribeiro For Awesome Performance

Will Smith was in the UK with his son Jaden to promote their new movie, After Earth, and during their appearance on the Graham Norton Show they ended up treating the audience to one heck of a show!

We got Jaden rapping (he and Dad sounded great together; I'd download their album if they had one), a Will Smith performance, and Carlton (Alfonso Ribeiro) from the television show Fresh Prince of Bel Air dancing up a storm! If you are a fan of the Fresh Prince, the rapper and actor, this is a must watch clip.

New Villain Revealed in Fast and Furious 6 Post Credits! (Spoiler Alert!)

New Villain Revealed in Fast and Furious 6 Post Credits! (Spoiler Alert!)

The ‘Fast’ franchise is a smash hit and shows no sign of slowing down. In fact in the Fast and Furious 6 post credits fans get a peek at what’s coming next!

Now before you read on–yes, this is a spoiler of sorts. No, it doesn’t tell you anything about the movie itself; just what the little snippet after the credits is about. So if you would rather sit through the credits and see it at the theater then stop reading.

If you don’t feel like trying to make idle conversation with your date (although this flick doesn’t scream ‘date movie’ to me) or the guys then read on....

Hanson Getting into the Beer Business with Mmmhops Pale Ale

Hanson Getting into the Beer Business with Mmmhops Pale Ale

Hanson–yes, the kiddie band with that catchy little ‘MmmBop’ tune– is making beer. You will never guess what they are calling it– Mmmhops Pale Ale.

I wish I was making it up, but this is actually true.

Apparently the trio–who are no longer little kiddies–are trying to bank off the smash hit they had before they knew what beer was by using the song’s popularity as a marketing tool. Of course it also helps that their song plays a part in Hangover III which opened in theaters on May 23 in advance of Memorial Day Weekend.

The boys (sorry, I can’t call them men even though they are old now) debuted their new beer at the after party for the official debut of the film....
