Does it surprise you that this show is on Animal Planet? No?

It shouldn't since it is not about what you think/wish it was about. It's a competitive fishing show. Yes, there is such a thin as competitive fishing.

If that doesn't excite you too much think about the cool locations they'll likely be on, the awesome boats, the women in bikinis (hopefully this lovely young lass will get picked). Who knows; maybe someone will accidentally reel in a shark or something and it will trash the boat!

[No disrespect intended to competitive fishers. I applaud you for being able to make money doing it. In fact, I'm kind of jealous. I just don't see how it is going to make for compelling television. Then again, those Kardashians are always on...)
